Hey, I’m gonna be at the upcoming Phoenix Comicon in Arizona over Memorial Weekend! That’s like, next week, so if you want to go, make plans and get your tickets now. Also, let me know so I can expect you (I’ll have some special JEFbot/Phoenix Comicon free mini-BOTtons to give away, and will save them for readers if you let me know you’re coming.) I’ll be over in Booth 800 – I’ve never been to this convention before, so I have no idea where my booth is in relation to anything else, but here’s a map, which looks like I’ll be directly to the left and in the corner when you enter the hall.
Come visit! If all goes according to plan, my buddy Michael Cornacchia – The Cornfather himself! – will be helping me out in the booth. You may even get to see Mombot and Popbot there on occasion, too, so make sure and say hi if you see them. (They’ll be the older white gentleman and Japanese lady looking slightly out of place. Heheh.) I’ll be bringing books (JEFBOT VOL.1 – still only available at appearances), new BOTtons, Shirts and Posters to sell and JEFbot bookmarks and postcards to hand out, too. So if you’re in the area or are planning on hitting up this con (which I hear is “the signature pop-culture event of the southwest,” don’tcha know), you can get your tickets from the link below. If this is even half as awesome as the Emerald City Comic Con was a couple months ago, then this is gonna be an absolute, crazy good time!
Well since I won’t be able to afford the 7 hour flight it would take to get there from Ireland I suppose I’ll have to stay glued to this 😛
Best of luck at the con Jeff 🙂
It is 15 hrs away driving, but it is probably the closest you are going to come to where I live. Taran is going to start working on his dad tonight to try and convince him that we need to be there. 😀 I’ll let you know if it works.
Because I am both broke and have school, I will not be able to go. Poo. BP
Have fun in Phoenix! Also – any chance that there will be books available for sale on the website soon? Pleeeaaaasssseee?
OH NO! You must save one for me and send it with my new shirt. I have to own all the Bottons. 🙂
I might be able to sneak in, but that depends on what happens at my job interview today. 😀
It was awesome to meet you guys in person, keep up the great strip and story lines. Apologies to The Cornfather, I wasn’t trying to diss on your singing ability it just came out that way! Hope you enjoyed the weather here in sunny AZ and come back next year!
thanks for the kudos, Marion, and another thanks for visiting the JEFbot booth! i had an awesome time at PHXCC and will definitely be back next year. (in fact, i’ve already signed up for a table so i can get a better spot on the convention floor!) 😀
LOL, I should know by now but I always forget but it’s Marlon with an L not i. Stupid ASCII characters, think Marlon Brando and you won’t forget! Glad to hear your coming back so we’ll see you then. Keep up the great work and I’ll keep reading.
I met you guys on Saturday and ended up buying a book haha. I read it all in one night and I just read all the others. I love it. I will be a regular viewer now. Very good artwork and very good writing. I love it! Good luck with everything!
woo-hoo! i’m happy you liked the book, Kyle – thanks for buying! and your kind words about the artwork and writing are awesome. i’m glad you’re a regular now! 😀
