Congratulations go out to friends Mark and Stacy who, yes, are getting married in just a little over 24 hours from now! Right smack dab in the middle of The Dark Knight’s opening weekend. I’m betting Stacy picked the date.
See you both tomorrow – I’m hitting The Dark Knight this afternoon!!!
Lol, that movie looks really good. :3
Woot! 1st comment!!! XD
weddings. blech! 🙂
probably what I would do also
Love the movement and joy in the first panel! The facial expressions in the following panels are priceless! We’ve all been there!
Hysterical. I love how the tix change in size and reflect Jefbot’s emotions. They start off huge, droopy in the middle, and sad, small, almost slipping away by the last frame. Glad we were able to see it together.
This is hysterical. I love BATMAN…I mean, BATBOT!!!!
natalie, saw it on friday and it was GREAT. you should definitely check it out.
fig, heheh. sorry, dude.
ominous knife, did both and nobody got hurt.
grim eskimo, heheh. it was a hard decision but it all worked out in the end.
janonymous, thanks! yeah, i had fun with that first panel. tried a little different style to give it that little extra “oomph!”
lor, heheh. thanks for noticing those little details. sometimes i wish i could use sound effects in the strip as i can totally hear the tickets “droop” in the third panel.
michael cornacchia, would it be “batbot” or “botman”? either way, thanks!
Hilarious! Totally heard the tickets lose their erection. Brilliantly done!
Knowing since early this year that Saturday, July 19th, would of course be Batman Day, imagine my surprise when we received the April “hold the date” e-mail for a friend’s annual Vegas Night party to be held on…July 19th. What to do?!? Oh, the stress! Do we say we already have plans, which is kind of true?!? Does that make us too nerdy?!? I know, we see Batman on Friday and take a half day off from work to do it. Problem solved! Of course, maybe it doesn’t address the nerdy issue…or maybe it does. Who are these people that don’t check release dates of big movies when making their plans for things like weddings? Would people forget when Christmas Day is? Incredible. 🙂
That is so funny! It is Batman… however, that was a killer wedding. Either way, the strip is outstanding. I mean, excellent job on the tickets. I LOVE the colors… and you’re rocker stance in the first box!!! You rock Jefbot. And again, it’s Batman!
I love that first panel, the pose is just awesom.
