I know, I know: I haven’t blogged in a lOOoOOOng time. Sorry, I’m going to try and do better in the next few weeks and get some new stuff posted. I actually have a couple of half-written blogs sitting in the queue that I just haven’t had time to finish, but, time-permitting, I’ll have those completed and published sometime this week. Again, sorry. Will do better.
You may have noticed that I’ve updated the site over the past couple of weeks with the “TURKEYbot” embedded in the logo to help celebrate the season a bit and a link on the “billboard” to the “Oasis” wallpaper, both on the top banner. PC users should be able to click on the billboard just fine, but Mac users might experience some difficulty. If you’re a user in the latter category, just click here. Happy Thanksgiving, soon!
Another update I’ve made is to the comments. As the readership for JEFbot has grown, so have the comments for each strip, and I’ve noticed it’s been difficult to reference points in previous comments or ask each other questions about a certain point with the linear comment system that’s been up since the beginning. Well, that’s changed now, so if you want to comment on a specific comment, you’re now free to do so. Almost every day I get interesting comments from you readers, positing on what may happen next in the storyline or conjecturing on what a certain character’s motivations are, and I think this is a cool way to engage each other in more of a dialogue, especially since I don’t have a forum on the site. Anyway: have at it if you’re feeling it. I hope to see and join in some lively discussions, soon.
That’s it for now. New blog soon!
Im looking forward to your blogs Jefbot.
I hope you american guys will enjoy thanksgiving and I like turkeybot. I wouldnt be able to come with something like this what is probably reason why you are the artist and Im just interested observer.
Anyway, I am extasic about new feature you gave us and I just want to say: Dont make a forum. Its all nice and pretty, but the fact is that system of comments that we have now makes it more of a conversation than just posting your opinion that somebody may or may not be interested in. And thats the feeling I like. Just wated to made my opinion known, that you may not even be interested in… Once again Happy thanksgiving to y´all.
i’m totally interested in what you have to say, Maryz, especially since, were i to make a forum, it would be for vocal readers like yourself. i’m of the same opinion as you, though: i don’t think JEFbot needs a forum. keeping things to a conversation about a particular strip is way more useful and appropriate to this site than random chatter that could be posted elsewhere. hopefully, this new “reply” system will make strip and blog conversations between all of us easier.
also, glad you dig TURKEYbot! 😀
I really love how you are so involved with the readers!! I think it’s pretty darn awesome that you take time to respond. It’s the little things like that that just make my day 😀 Love the strip, love your style of drawing, and good luck with the comic and your acting!! Have a great Thanksgiving!!!

i appreciate you feeling that way, ESQ. i also appreciate when readers like you take the time to write up a comment or email and let me know what you’re feeling about a particular storyline or your thoughts on my writing or art, or even encouragement on my acting career. so, yeah, i think all of you are pretty darn awesome for spending time on this site every week!
hope you have a *stupendous* thanksgiving!
Good to see a new blog from you, and you don’t need to apologize as you’re a very busy guy these days! Also, it’s good to hear that we can now all interact with comments. Probably makes things easier for you as well. I love TurkeyBot! That’s another idea for the BotShop! A stuffed Turkey Bot! I would buy one to add to a collection of stuffed Mu, Momo and Abraxas! I hope you and your family and friends have an amazing Thanksgiving! (And let’s hope it’s not like the one you did awhile back with the napkin! *cringe*) 😛 Looking forward to hearing about your Thanksgiving adventures, as well as where you’re going with the strip!
you have an amazing turkey day too, Spanky! wow, it’s just under a week away. and yes, although the whole Schuetze family will be celebrating together, let’s hope we don’t have another napkin incident. heheh.
oh, and i would *love* to do a turkeybot, but just finding a good company to mass produce plush Musashis and Abraxi is a job unto itself! 🙂
Bwuahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa!!!
Reply option RULES!!!
Bow to the power of the REPLY OPTION!!
*evil laugh of doom*
The little icons you use for the “O” since October are much loved. Keep them coming! And reading your blogs is always loads of fun. Just need to force you away from any of your gaming systems long enough for you to complete one 😛
i’m hoping to have a new “O” icon for december, Sonitan! glad you like those little things and the new “reply” feature. should also have a new blog sometime this weekend, too. 🙂
I love the turkey-bot. Very cute. I also wanted to let you know that I have had your Musashi *almost* done for a while now and I’m just waiting for some free time to work on him again and get him finished. I’m in the “end of the semester” madhouse right now trying to get projects done for both of my classes. But he should be finished soon. 🙂
woo-hoo! can’t wait to see him, Shanna! especially now that he’s been abducted in the strip, i’m kinda missing him. *sniff* 😉
no rush, though. hope you get through the madhouse unscathed!
