you got it, JJ – if you look closely in the previous strip, you can see the green ship is taking a shot at the purple one and actually grazes it a bit with its beam. the roof jefbot and cel were standing on was just collateral damage. whether or not one of the aliens is on “our side” remains to be seen!

Cel totally seems like the Parkour type hahaha…She’s all badass and limber and stuff. While, I do believe I’d be curious…I’d want to get my shoesies on first!
true dat, ESQ – while we know cel has some fighting skillz and maybe even some training (as evidenced when she rescued corn and bot when they were trapped under the geek-avalanche), jefbot’s only fighting skills come from video games (as far as we know.) plus – like you mentioned – he’s got no shoes on, the repercussions of which we’ll find out in the next strip!
I do believe the rescue from the geek avalanche is one of my favorite’s!! The way she kicked in the door…oh yeah!!! I’d totally want to be her sidekick…the Chub to her Scrawn hahahaha
It pains me that this went up moments after I feel to sleep while lurking for some shades of lurky firsting but if I’d been up the strip would have been well worth the wait!
Cels expressions have been excellently drawn this entire storyline, great work Bot! And great work on the bad lights too!

I’ve been thinking about making one since LAST Christmas, but I haven’t actually *done* it yet. And I need to go buy some red eyes. I only have black, brown, and blue. I’ll try to bump it up the crafting priority list. Kypress, you and I can maybe work together to come up with a yarny version, while Pixie makes the sewn fabric version and ESQ makes the glued-felt-like-nobody’s-business version. 😉

i think i mentioned this to Shanna a while back, but i’d love to get back into board games! the closest i get to that these days is with some D&D games with friends every other friday and saturday. and while i love me some video games, i haven’t even plugged my 360, PS3 or Wii in since the move to my new apartment! of course, i have been playing some Pokemon on my DS every now and then. and yay for us Toys R Us kids (and that song!)!!! 😀
as for a squishy, snuggly Christmas Bat, there’s nothing i’d like more than to offer that in the BOTshop, but there are no plans, as of yet. if something happens along those lines, though, i’ll be sure and let you know.

So, to modify that:
Searching for friendly(?) extra terrestrials > calculating ratios > snuggling > searching for armed/violent extra terrestrials > food > sleep.
These priorities are obviously in the correct order.

and yes! Runyon Canyon’s a real place in hollywood. lots of cool trails, crags and valleys (and you can actually see the Hollywood sign from the summit), and would make a great, creepy place to have an alien crash-landing. 🙂
