I really thought I was going to get that part, but I suppose I don’t hate Wil Wheaton (anymore) because I didn’t. In fact, the more I read and hear about all the cool things he’s done, the more I want to have a beer with him and talk nerdy about things like classic coin-ops and comic books.
Darn! So close…great story! Cool graphics.
Lol XD That’s so funny, I gotta show meh friends! xD Great comic. :3
sharing JEFbot with your friends is the highest praise i could hope to get, nat. thanks.
I love the shading in this strip. Only JEFbot can make black and white be so “colorful” looking. Great job. I’m sorry Wil Wheaton got the part over you but remember Asian wasn’t in in the mid 80’s.
You mean, you don’t hate him because young Wesley Crusher was always saving the day on TNG?! Nicely done, BOTdude.
I have the same story but it was the movie “The Toy.” The kid that got MY roll then later went on to be in “The Christmas Story” and then much later…porn. At least I felt a little vindication.
thus perpetuating the “separated at birth” theory between you and me.
Wow, that’s some heavy s%@t!!! Such a beautiful strip too!!! I love the eye in the third box, it’s like the eye of the tiger! The best part for me, was your excellent use of the black and white into the color. HATE really just pop’s out! …AS IT SHOULD!!! Great job!
This looks beautiful, Bot. And don’t worry, you grew up over the hill from Hollywood…you didn’t need to be whisked away. You could have just caught a ride.
now i can see the family resemblance between you and xinda….
Ha! That’s funny and sad. But, you’re a better you.
Came here via Wil’s blog, didn’t know what to expect… now… I like!
Wandered in off Wil’s blog and am very glad I did. I’ll be back frequently now that I’ve seen your nifty work.
i’m ecstatic that you and richard slater (and all the other new readers from wil’s site for that matter) found your way here, pockafwye. i hope you’ll stick around for more jefbot adventures!
Cool look in this strip ! The shadow and light effect is awesome ! Great choice for this particular story !
Wil Wheaton linked this one on his blog (Thanks Wil) and now I’m hooked.
I spent my evening reading through from the beginning, after sharing champagne and cake with my friends!! I made my computer split-screen so while reading JEFBOT, I also was watching/listening to Working in the Theatre.
Look at it on the bright side… it could have been River Phoenix who stole your life…
heh IDK if he’ll read it but i tweeted Wil this comic I said you were A real life SHeldon ;P
