CONVENTION SEASON BEGINS! And it doesn’t begin any better than the Emerald City Comicon (ECCC) in Seattle! ECCC was the very first convention I attended as an exhibitor with JEFbot back in 2011 so it holds a special place in my heart and remains the favorite comic-con I do. I have no doubt that this is going to be my biggest and best convention ever! Consider:
1) New merch. I’ll have a ton of new JEFstuf, including the new Quality Time 2.0 tees, the new printing of the JEFbot book (hardcovers and softcovers), new greeting cards and new prints! I’ll also be debuting an awesome new t-shirt design at ECCC (I haven’t even received them yet) so expect a blog post on that soon.
2) Old merch. I’ll be bringing limited amounts of old tees and prints, so if you’re coming to the show and want that stuff, get it while you can.
3) New ECCC BOTton. As I’ve done at every convention since the beginning, I’ll have a limited amount of a special BOTton I’ll give for free to BOTpeeps at the show. Just mention it when you come by the BOTbooth and you’ll get it if it’s still available.
4) Monsters & Dames book. The Emerald City Comicon puts out a book entitled Monsters & Dames filled with (as you might guess) monsters and ladies, as envisioned by many of the guests and artists you’ll see at the con! Proceeds from the sale of the book (limited to 1150 individually numbered copies) and an art auction helps out the Seattle Children’s Hospital, so I’m especially honored to be included in the book and auction this year! I know these books have sold out every year so get one early if you can.
As you can guess, I’m extremely excited about this show. If you’re planning on attending, let me know and make sure you stop by the BOTbooth for meets, greets, fist bumps and high-fives!

It’s awesome to see you’re included in the Monsters and Dames book this year! I’ll definitely be picking one up and look forward to getting it signed. Can’t wait to see you there, I’ve been counting down the days to ECCC like crazy this past month!
glad to see you’ll be picking the M&D book up, Nuurgle! i can’t wait to see it. and i’ll be at the BOTbooth pretty much the entire weekend (unless i’m running out for coffee or snacks) so come on by! 😀
I so wish I could be there! I live not 30 minutes away but I just had a double lung transplant a month and a half ago so I have to be VERY careful around crowds and such. I will do all I can to be able to make it next year and finally be able to meet you! I hope you have fun up in the Northwest, I love it up here and love to call it home. I moved up here from CA for school and never left. 🙂
WOW! a “double lung transplant”!?? yes, take it easy and take care of yourself, JP. sending healing vibes your way and looking forward to meeting you next year! 😀
Cant wait! one more week! (lemme know if you need another sandwich run)
see you there, Maesonic! and i’m sure i’ll need another one of your sandwich runs this year – last year’s was a life saver! 🙂
Really wanted to make it out and take my oldest, but my mom and stepdad are coming up from L.A. to visit and you don’t deny Nana time with her favorite grandson.
Save me a Bot’ton?
I wish I could be there for ECCC damn my birthday being in the middle of march instead
Again, I live in Seattle, but unemployment doesn’t very well allow one to purchase con tix. Sad day. But keep me posted on if you do some kind of a reader hangout or something.
