Hey, BOTpeeps! Just a quick shout-out to let y’all know that I’m at the San Diego Comic-Con (aka Comic-Con International: San Diego) again this year. We had a Preview Night for a few hours to get things started off yesterday, but today’s the first full day of conventioning, so if you’re attending make sure and stop by the BOTbooth and give me a high five/fist bump/holla. They bumped me out of my regular residence in Small Press and put me on the MAIN FLOOR this year so I’m pretty excited/anxious about what’s in store for the next few days. Wish me luck!
As always, JEFbot readers (even while on hold) get a free JEFBOT SDCC BOTton while supplies last, so come get ’em while they’re hot. See you there!

• Mouthfuls of Madness Ramen House t-shirt
• Casa del Chalupacabra Restaurante y Cantina t-shirt
Glad you made it there hope you sell out.
thanks, Kris! 🙂
Was the “International Beastro” line a thing back in the day? I vaguely remember the Mouthfuls of Madness one, but I’m pretty sure the “Casa del Chalupacabra Restaurante y Cantina” shirt is new and must go on my list.
Maybe once I get the money saved up for the new laptop…
hey, Joe! the “Int’l Beastros” just came about as i was coming up with ideas for more mythic monster restaurant shirts for cons. i have a couple other ideas in mind that i just haven’t been able to get to… yet. i’ll post ’em on the site as they become a reality. and no doubt jefbot will have to visit these restaurants in the “BOTiverse” someday!
Hm. Somehow I drifted through here so quickly that I didn’t notice the dates changed. Well, hope you had a blast at the con!
yeah, i’ll make the post for my next con look different so it’s not so easily missed, E. A.!
-Frankenstien voice- He livessssss
Angry mob noises- Not for long he doesnt
oops…
heres hoping that he is part of a zombie apocalypse and returns when it begins
grAAaarrrr… braaaaiinnnnsszss…
We wait for the comics, your crowd still lingers 🙂 good luck with that job hunt!
thanks, HitD! still looking. still surviving. i’ll post an update soon.
Hmm… ever considered going on deviantART and started selling commission pieces? At least as a sideline doohickey to get some moolah in your pockets.
i’ve thought about it, ROM!, but i’ve found it’s really hard to sell stuff online. i do much better at conventions, it’s just i’d need to do, like, 2-3 big conventions a month to live somewhat comfortably but unfortunately con-season doesn’t last all year. i’m doing some side jobs now to help pay bills but they’re taking much more time than i’d like. hopefully i’ll get something more steady SOON.
Perhaps this coming year, I’ll make it to an out of town comic convention. I was going to go to the Emerald City one but it’s on the same dates as the Zenkaikon in Lancaster and I made arrangements to volunteer at that one. Schedule conflicts are a real bummer.
Emerald City’s still one of my favorite cons, Rainey! the next time you aren’t doing Zenkaikon, you’ll have to check it out and come by the BOTbooth. 🙂
